17TH ASHRAMPARA JAGADHATTRI PUJA INAUGURATED AT SILIGURI TODAY

Webdesk, TNI Siliguri, 6th November, 2016: After the festivities of Durga Puja, Laxmi Puja, Kali Puja the succession event of festivities continues for the Bengalis. This time as always is the Jagaddhatri Puja. Over the years Siliguri has witnessed the Jagaddhatri puja and the enthusiasm of the Siligurians in it.
The 17th Annual Jagaddhatri Puja of Ashrampara Jagaddhatri Puja Committee was today inaugurated by the MIC Tourism Mr. Gautam Deb today evening. Though the main puja is on 9th November yet the inauguration was witnessed by a huge crowd in the puja pandal at around 6:30 pm today. According to the puja committee officials, there would be items like Sit and Draw competition, Social works and Prasad distribution among the devotees during the puja.
